We’ve heard about Hulu plans regarding Android as far back as January and then back in March there were strong indications that Hulu Plus was coming to select Android smartphones but with no other details nor an exact release date being made public.
If you’re an Android user and a fan of the online video service than the wait is over as Hulu Plus has finally hit the Android Market. The first wave of smartphones Hulu supports in its initial version is limited to the following six: Nexus One, Nexus S, HTC Inspire 4G, Motorola Droid II, Motorola Droid X, and the Motorola Atrix. Other devices will be added this year with further updates to the application expanding the number of Google-powered smartphones supported.
You can download the application for free from the Android Market if you have a supported device. Hulu ads a one-week free trial after which you need to subscribe to Hulu Plus for $7.99 per month.
