Together with all the other S devices — Desire S and Incredible S — HTC has also launched the Wildfire S with the occasion of this year’s Mobile World Congress and rumor has it it will be part of T-Mobile’s line-up.
According to TmoNews, the Wildfire S, also codenamed HTC Marvel might be part of T-Mobile’s portfolio of Android smartphones. The Wildfire S features a 3.2-inch HVGA 480 x 320 display, packs a 600MHz CPU with 512MB of RAM and ROM and it looks to be a sweet but low-end, budget Android smartphone, follow-up to the original Wildfire.
With the HTC Sensation 4G already in line and the HTC Doubleshot (aka myTouch 4G slide) coming up, a low-end, budget smartphone still rocking Android will be a nice addition. Below is the image of the Wildfire S snapped by TmoNews’ ninjas at a T-Mobile outing.
