Last fall, news of a super-thin HTC Android landed, one that would supposedly measure-in under the eight-millimeter mark. A few weeks after learning of this model, known as the HTC Ville, we had the opportunity to publish the first-ever press renderings of the handset. That gave us a good look at what to expect from the phone, but it wasn’t until last week that some images arrived showing real, functional Ville hardware. Problem was, as nice as it was to finally have some shots of the Ville in the flesh, the source quality left quite a bit to be desired. Luckily, Ville images are making a return, now crisp and in-focus.

It’s interesting to note that the source of today’s imagery appears to be the very same as that from last week, with the same phone taken at the same desk.

Now you can get a better-than-ever look at Sense 4.0, which we recently previewed in some detail. We also get some clean shots of the hardware itself, letting us compare it against the renders we already brought you. From what we’ve seen, it appears to be matching to a T.

The Ville should arrive running a 1.5GHz dual-core processor, and feature a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED qHD display. More recent estimations of its thickness have it a little bulkier than first thought, but still under nine millimeters. The Ville is one of several upcoming HTC models we expect to get a chance to see at the Mobile World Congress.
