When we showed you the HTC Edge, we mentioned how, in addition to possibly arriving with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, the handset could be among the first HTC will outfit with Sense 4.0. Today we’re hearing some rumors about another upcoming HTC Android, including the possibility that it might be this model to introduce the world to Sense 4.0
The HTC Ville, unlike the Edge, has abandoned its hardware Android buttons, leaving no question that the phone will launch with Ice Cream Sandwich installed. It will supposedly feature a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED screen with a qHD resolution and be powered by a dual-core 1.5GHz Snapdragon.
At under eight millimeters thick, the Ville is shaping-up to be even thinner than the Edge. Like that phone, the Ville is expected to have an eight-megapixel main camera. Other available details on the phone mention a lack of NFC, the presence of an HSPA+ radio, and yet another Beats audio tie-in.
It’s not quite a perfect match, but “Ville” is very similar to the “Villa” from the list we released of possible upcoming HTC device names. According to the source of this rumor, the Ville will become available sometime in April 2012.
