Here’s an interesting screenshot for you: it’s the Verizon Wireless’ Pre-MAP (minimum advertised price) and it features some interesting phones coming hopefully soon to the carrier. There are four phones listed and among them there’s the HTC Vigor we saw recently.
First things first: there’s the Motorola MOTXT875, also known as the Motorola Droid Bionic. Thanks to Motorola’s CEO, Sanjay Jha, we know the phone will only come in September but it’s always good to know Verizon is in the know. Next up are two HTC phones; first one is a certain ADR6330 which we don’t know nothing about but given the Incredible 2 is ADR6350 and the Silver Edition phone recently surfaced, it could be it, or a close cousin.
Then we have the ADR6425 which NenaMark recently told us it’s the HTC Vigor. This phone was silent for some two years after which it just popped up showing off its camera capabilities and then its powerful specs. The Vigor is said to run on a 1.5GHz processor with an Adreno 220 GPU, and would operate on Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread. Then there’s also the alleged HD display, with a 720p, 1280 x 720 resolution.
Last, but not least, there’s an LG phone, the VS920. It appears to be a follow-up for the LG Revolution (model number LG-VS910) and we reported it popping up on Bluetooth documents at the beginning of last month. It will definitely be an LTE phone to watch out for.
What does this “minimum advertised price” screenshot tell us? Well, it definitely testifies to Verizon’s awareness of these phones but it can’t be considered as an accurate indicator. There are no dates involved and the listing is not a confirmation of things to come, though it can be a pretty good indication.
