We haven’t heard the name HTC Vigor in nearly two years, but now we’re seeing signs that it may arrive on Verizon as the Android-powered ADR6425. First spotted among a batch of several other trademark applications from HTC in July 2009 –including Tattoo and Imagio — the Vigor branding has never been attached to a particular handset — at least until now.
Besides its six-megapixel camera, Vigor hasn’t yet revealed anything about its features or form factor. One intriguing possibility is that we’re looking at that Mecha S “Thunderbolt mini” we caught wind of a few months back: Vigor’s ADR6425 model number is fairly close to Thunderbolt’s ADR6400. However, it should be noted that the HTC Merge ADR6325 isn’t in the same family as the HTC Droid Incredible ADR6300, whose Incredible 2 sequel carries a designation of ADR6350; in other words, there doesn’t seem to be any precedent here.
