Late last week, it looked like some of our outstanding questions regarding the HTC Vigor were finally being addressed, apparently confirming the 720p screen among other things. This past weekend threw us a new curveball, with DLNA certifications suggesting the phone might arrive not as the Vigor, but as the HTC Rezound. We’re still not sure how that piece of the puzzle is going to play out, but in the meantime some new photos of the phone have surfaced, giving us some more insight into its hardware and software.
Unlike the earlier press render we had, here you can see the Vigor in full Verizon badging, including the red speaker grille. An image taken of the phone’s Hardware Information screen finally gives us a nice list of specs, including the 1.5GHz dual-core processor, gigabyte of RAM, eight-megapixel main camera with two-megapixel front-facer, Bluetooth 3.0, and of course that 4.3-inch 720p screen.
Here, the phone is shown running Android 2.3.4 with Sense 3.5, but HTC may switch to a more recent Android build (maybe even Ice Cream Sandwich, depending on the timing of this release) before the Vigor arrives.
