The HTC Explorer — first known as the Pico, as leaked — is rumored to have a 600MHz processor, 3.2-inch HVGA display, 384MB of RAM, 512MB of ROM, and a five-megapixel camera. It will allegedly run Android 2.3 Gingerbread with HTC Sense 3.5 on top of it and according to reports, it will be launched soon.
September 29 is the date to circle in your calendar if you are interested in the Explorer (or HTC news in general) as it appears to be the date on which HTC’s new President of Global Sales and Marketing, Jason Mackenzie, will announce the phone in Delhi. Being launched in India, the phone will be initially available there and will probably replace the Wildfire.
