Here’s the deal with the Sprint EVO 3D: nobody knows when it will be available since no information was made public since its announcement back in March but Best Buy and RadioShack are already taking silent pre-orders for the glasses-free 3D smartphone. Even more, rumor has it Vodafone UK will have it ready on July 11 as the HTC EVO (sans 3D in the name but with the same specs, minus WiMAX capability).
According to the screenshot above, the EVO 3D has a “rough launch date” of June 4. What’s a “rough launch date”? We’re guessing one that can’t be trusted more than any other launch rumors. We’ve seen plenty of examples of devices coming to the market later than rumored — but then again we’ve seen some accurate predictions too. Whether you believe the above or not is totally up to you but it would be just about time Sprint got the device out there two months after its announcement!
