As disappointed as many of us were with the news that HTC plans to offer Sense 4.0 to only some legacy devices, it’s a tough blow to see even last year’s hot HTC Sensation and even the Sensation XE to be missing from the list. Still, Ice Cream Sandwich on any phone is better than sticking with good-old Gingerbread, and if you’re currently owning an HTC Sensation or Sensation XE in any of the Nordic countries, you’ll be happy to know their new version of Sense 3.6 running on ICS should hit your device either now or soon.
According to HTC headquarters, the roll-out has begun and it’s only a matter of time within this month for most, if not all of the lucky devices, to get a taste of Ice Cream Sandwich. If it hasn’t reached your device yet, remember these things take time. We’re still not sure when our T-Mobile variant of the Sensation will get a taste of the fun, but you know how it is with carriers on this side of the pond.
