A couple of days ago we told you that the HTC-made Sprint EVO 3D has been rooted but the tools were not made public yet. Since the HTC Sensation and the EVO 3D have similar internals, the tools are supporting both smartphones and have now gone public.
These are Fre3vo and Fre3dom. Fre3vo is a temp-root acquiring tool, allowing users access to a root shell on their HTC EVO 3D and Sensation devices. Fre3domis the name of the tool being developed to enable S-OFF on the EVO 3D and Sensation. Fre3vo is already available if you follow the source link where you’ll find links, instructions as well as prerequisites for acquiring temp-root on your smartphone. As usual, be careful when tampering with your device as it may void your warranty or even render it unusable.
