HTC apparently has a version of the Salsa destined for China which swaps out the Facebook button for that of a microblogging service called Sina Weibo. Wikipedia describes the site as a “hybrid of Twitter and Facebook.” Besides the removal of Facebook integration and the inclusion of appropriate 3G radios, no other changes have reportedly been made to the 800MHz, 3.4-inch handset. A release is likely to occur in short order; nothing has been mentioned about a similarly-altered ChaCha.
