Verizon and HTC have officially unveiled the Rezound phone yesterday, packing an HD-resolution 720p display of 4.3 inches, dual-core 1.5GHz processor, 1GB of RAM, 16GB internal storage, 16GB microSD card, eight-megapixel camera, two-megapixel front-facer, and LTE radio.

It appears that root has been achieved on the phone even before the device got official. According to recent reports, the same one-click root method which achieves root on the HTC Amaze has been confirmed to work with the Rezound too. Now power users only need the actual Rezound to customize the heck out of it.
