Recently we reported on HTC’s apparent “spying” on users with a recent update to the EVO 3D and Sensation.
According to a report, HTC has responded to these charges:
“HTC is committed to protecting your privacy and that means a commitment to clear opt-in/opt-out as the standard for collecting any information we need to serve you better.”
What do you think? Is HTC’s response enough to calm the fears of their customers? Or are they still stepping over the line?
