Launched a tad more than a month ago on September 15, the HTC Desire HD has received its first official over-the-air ROM update from HTC now available as a reference on the manufacturer’s website.

While your Android system might notify you of the existence of a new update at certain schedules, it’s not a bad practise to force check for updates. The new software update available will replace your original software with a new one of version 1.32.405.3. According to the support description this will solve issues related to screen control and bring photo message compatibility enhancements.
