We know that plenty of you have been anticipating the retail launches of the HTC One X and One S in the States. Sure, you could import an international version of the One X (and the quad-core version, at that), but then you’d miss out on support for AT&T’s LTE bands. We’ve heard a lot of rumors about both these phones, and with their expected launches approaching, some additional rumors and evidence have come to our attention with the hopes of confirming some launch details.
April 25 is one date that’s been tied to release of the One S, but we’ve yet to hear it confirmed. We should get that opportunity in just a couple days, as T-Mobile’s sent out invitations for a press event this Wednesday that is almost certainly going to contain such an announcement. The timing even looks good, with the phone arriving a week after the event. Tonight there’s yet another One S leak out naming April 25; not exactly a slam-dunk, but we’re getting to the point where there’s a preponderance of evidence.
The AT&T One X (XL) retail launch is a little more nebulous. The latest rumors put its release as possibly sometime later this week, following an announcement by AT&T tomorrow. We’re not even sure where this comes from, beyond a “trusted” source, but at least we’ll know whether it’s accurate or not in the very near future.
