The international HTC One X has 32GB of internal storage and a quad-core nVidia Tegra 3 SoC. The HTC One X on AT&T has a 1.5GHz dual-core Qualcomm MSM8960 processor because the Tegra 3 doesn’t play nicely yet with LTE. Still, why isn’t there 32GB of internal storage on AT&T’s version? You’d probably say it’s because it is an HTC One XL which AT&T decided (for obvious reasons) to market as the One X.
However, according to HTC Australia, the HTC One XL has indeed 32GB of internal storage, just like the One X. We have several scenarios here: (1) the standard is 32GB but AT&T decided to place a special order for its own flavor, in which case you can thank your carrier for the smaller amount of memory; (2) the standard is 16GB but then Australian variants have 32GB, in which case you can, again, thank AT&T for not ordering versions with more internal storage; (3) the specs on the HTC Australia page are wrong.
