Last week, we got a look at the HTC One X when the quad-core smartphone apparently breezed-through the halls of the FCC. We won’t see the One X in the States, instead getting the HTC One XL (though confusingly referred to largely as the One X) on AT&T. For those nations that will see the One X, HTC has put together a special limited edition of the handset, bundling in what else Beats headphones.
These aren’t your normal Beats earbuds, but a full-sized pair of Solo headphones worth about $180. As part of the One X Deluxe Limited Edition, you’ll get the Solo headphones bundled with the One phone in some custom packaging. We’re curious to learn if there are any changes to the handset itself as part of this Deluxe Limited Edition, even if it’s just something cosmetic, but so far we haven’t heard of anything like that.
So far, we’ve only heard of plans to offer this bundle in Taiwan, but we wouldn’t be surprised to see it pop-up in Europe and other markets expected to see the One X. Pre-orders for the Deluxe Limited Edition will open on March 20, but we’re not sure just when the package will actually arrive. Ultimately, the One X along with the Solo headphones will end up running you the equivalent of about $850 with this offer.
