We just heard about the release plans for HTC’s One-series of Androids in Europe, but we’re still partially in the dark when it comes to the company’s plan for the lineup in the States. There have been plenty of signs lately pointing to the coming release of the One S on T-Mobile, from its certification at the FCC, to some video surfacing showing an in-development One S running T-Mobile software. It’s been looking like the phone is nearly ready to go, but we haven’t had much of a guess for exactly when to expect it. A new leak out today attempts to nail-down that date, claiming we’ll see the One S on T-Mobile on April 22.
The leaked screenshot not only names the date straight-out, but also shows us a countdown clock set for the same day. While it all looks very legitimate, there are still some concerns that it would be unlikely for the release date to fall on a Monday. That’s not necessarily a deal-breaker, but it’s something to keep in mind when considering the veracity of this claim.
