With the upcoming October 7 Taipei debut of the HTC Desire HD and HTC Desire Z (launched on September 15 in Europe) as well as the upcoming October 6 September’s sales report, investors seem to be satisfied with the growing tendency of the Taiwanese company.
While according to cell phone parts manufacturers, HTC’s sales are expected to reach a record 10 million units, HTC CEO Peter Chou stated that another record has been broken: there are at least 30 carriers worldwide that are interested in getting the newly launched HTC Desire HD and, even more, almost all European mobile phone operators are planning to have the device in their lineup.
With the upcoming release of Microsoft’s Windows Phone 7, Q4 is likely to outperform Q3 as HTC is bringing new Windows Phone 7 devices to the table. Combine that with the largest event ever held in Taiwan with more than 350 celebrities attending the launch of the two new Desires and you have a nice recipe for success.
