At HTC’s press event tomorrow, the company is expected to take the wraps off of the second version of their midrange (and petite) Android handset, the Wildfire 2. What you’re looking at here is the first press shots of the Wildfire 2, which will also sport an updated version of Android Sense, versions 3.0, just like the HTC Saga/Desire 2.
In terms of specs, we’re not totally sure what to expect, but given how HTC positions its devices, we’d say it will have a 3.2″ 480×320 HVGA screen with a single core Qualcomm Snapdragon chip, either clocking in at 1Ghz or 800MHz with 512MB of RAM. It’s also likely to ship with Android 2.3 Gingerbread. More as we get it!
