We’ve told you about the HTC Kingdom and the HTC Rider when the first blurry images of the two upcoming HTC smartphones hit the internet. At that time, all we had was the pictures and our wild guesses but today we get Test ROM leaks, from the same source, for the same smartphones.
The HTC Kingdom is going to land on Sprint, according to the leaked Test ROM. Given the similarities with Verizon’ LTE-enabled Thunderbolt, we’re inclining to think the Kingdom will (or it better be) a WiMAX-enabled smartphone.

As far as the HTC Rider is concerned, we thought of it as the European HTC EVO 3D. A leaked Test ROM indicates that the smartphone is heading to Korea’s KT network, which, by itself, doesn’t rule out the possibility of it being an Asian version of the EVO 3D. Manufacturers often release EurAsian versions of their smartphones.
We’re likely to get more info on the upcoming HTC smartphones above after the good folks at XDA take a look inside the leaked ROMs and dismantle them. Until then, let us know of your thoughts!
