HTC’s Inpsire 4G has shown up at Walmart Wireless following a brief appearance at Amazon, promising a February release. Thanks to someone familiar with the plans, we know exactly when in February it will ship — the 13th — and for how much: just $99 on contract. That price compares very favorably to the $149 that the Atrix 4G and Droid Bionic from Motorola are expected to fetch, and especially in light of the rumored $249 HTC Thunderbolt pricetag. At this point it seems that the HTC and Motorola handsets from CES have had their pricing and release dates pretty much locked down, and so now our focus turns to the LG Revolution and pair of smartphones from Samsung — not to mention whatever gets announced at MWC this month.

Update: AT&T just pushed out the press release which confirmed those final details we were waiting for.
