HTC Holiday Retail Branding Revealed

Evan Blass | January 17, 2012 12:01 AM

The 4.5-inch, dual-core handset codenamed HTC Holiday will come to market as the HTC Raider, according to the device’s user agent profile. It’s important to note, however, that this will probably be the branding for the global version of the phone; it’s not clear whether or not AT&T will adopt the same monniker for its LTE launch handset. Engadget recently reported that AT&T may dub this qHD flagship HTC Waikiki, but that seems unlikely; Waikiki is more likely the internal AT&T codename for the phone.

Besides AT&T, Raider/Holiday is also expected to hit Bell in Canada, as well as unspecified carriers in Europe and Asia. So far HTC has only applied for trademark protection on Raider with the EU.
