Closely following Nokia’s launch of the pastel-heavy N9 comes evidence that HTC is working on a brightly-colored model of its own, codenamed HTC Glamor. Although not much is yet known about this handset — tipped for availability in pink, yellow, and light blue — there is some context to suggest that it is the HTC Bliss female-focused smartphone first tipped by This is my next early last month.
However, that report described a “greenish” device reminiscent of the Desire S and Desire Z, while Glamor looks more like Incredible S at the top and Sensation at the bottom, in our opinion. Still, even if Glamor and Bliss are not the same product, the color scheme alone — as well as the codename — makes a female-targeted marketing campaign for Glamor almost a certainty.
