Following its launch on Sprint as the EVO View 4G, the HTC Flyer now appears headed to T-Mobile under its original moniker — although it’s not entirely clear which of the international carrier’s branches that would be. Rebranding of a YouTube page (pictured below) is highly suggestive of a US launch, however, since T-Mobile USA is apparently the only division with such a channel.
The seven-inch, 1024 x 600 Gingerbread tablet will debut on Sprint sometime this summer, although no window was given for the T-Mobile release. According to the promotional material we saw, T-Mobile will be giving away one or more European trips to market the device.
Earlier this year T-Mobile US introduced the G-Slate, an 8.9-inch rebadge of the LG Optimus Pad, which offers 3D viewing capabilities. Both the G-Slate and the Flyer would join the original Samsung Galaxy Tab in T-Mobile’s touchscreen tablet lineup. The Flyer aims to differentiate itself with a capacitive pen powered by proprietary HTC Scribe software.
