In this video we unbox the HTC EVO Shift on Sprint’s 4G WiMax network. The first impressions of the Android 2.2 powered device is that it may seem like the successor of the original EVO 4G but is quite the contrary.
The EVO Shift phone has a four row QWERTY non-spring-assisted slide out keyboard, a 3.6 inch WVGA LCD display, and a mere, yet snappy, 800MHz processor. While the EVO 4G has no physical keyboard, a 4.3 inch display and a 1GHz processor. The EVO Shift feels sturdy in hand, the rubberized backing is reminiscent of many other HTC products which feature this coating.
The other items included in the box are a microUSB sync/charging cable, a USB wall charger, and a bit of documentation. Stay tuned for the hardware tour and software tour coming up shortly.
