We already had strong hints indicating that the upcoming HTC Evo Shift 4G will be released on January 9 and that the handset will go for around $150 but thanks to a RadioShack ad listing the smartphone, we get another confirmation.
To be more specific, the price will be $149.99 with a two-year agreement, falling pretty nice into place with the BestBuy price of $150 with the same conditions — and a $449.99 price without a contract. The date remains January 9, 2011, that is one and a half weeks from now but there are no other details given out — not that we’d need any with all the rumors and leaks lately surrounding the HTC Evo Shift 4G (aka HTC Speedy or HTC Knight). In case you need us to refresh your memory, rumor has it the Evo Shift 4G will feature an 800MHz processor, a 3.6-inch screen, slide-out QWERTY keyboard, WiMax connectivity, and either a five- or eight-megapixel camera.
