Sprint officially announced the HTC EVO 3D back in March with the occasion of this year’s CTIA and has just made it public that the Taiwanese 3D smartphone is now available from the carrier for anyone to own.
Sprint Premier customers had a three day advance but you can now grab the EVO 3D yourself. The price is $199.99 with a new two-year service agreement or eligible upgrade. You can grab the smartphone from Sprint stores as well as online from the carrier.
The smartphone runs on Sprint’s 4G WiMax network and can wirelessly tether up to eight devices. It sports a dual-core Qualcomm 1.2GHz CPU, around 768MB of RAM, 4.3-inch and qHD resolution screen with glasses free 3D technology, dual five-megapixel camera with 2D or 3D video recording capability and a front-facing 1.3MP camera for video chat and self-portraits.
