HTC EVO 3D Allows You to Remove Pre-Installed Apps Without Root

Anton D. Nagy | June 24, 2011 6:51 AM

Here’s some good news for current and future Sprint EVO 3D owners. It appears that applications pre-installed, often referred to as bloatware, can be uninstalled from the smartphone without the need of root access.

Apparently, accessing the application list and simply pressing the Uninstall button will make you get rid of the apps you don’t use nor like and regain some precious storage space bits. There’s one application though that can’t be removed and that’s Sprint ID. That aside, props to Sprint or HTC for taking it to the next level.
