HTC Doubleshot Is a Gingerbread-Powered QWERTY Slider [Update]

The HTC Doubleshot, rumored to be coming to T-Mobile, is indeed an Android Gingerbread-powered WVGA handset with physical QWERTY keyboard, according to its user agent profile. Along with information gleaned from an online benchmark tool, the specs of this 1.2GHz device are falling into place nicely: a photograph posted to Picasa tipped us to its six-plus-megapixel camera with HDR capabilities; we’re starting to think that Doubleshot refers to a 3D camera on this model a la the Optimus 3D and EVO 3D.

The other known features are a Bluetooth 3.0 radio and 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi — since Doubleshot has yet to pass through the FCC, we can’t be sure of its cellular broadband, but HSPA+ is pretty likely. We’d expect spy shots of this one to start popping up in no time.

Update: TmoNews reports that Doubleshot may go on sale at the end of July, in two different colors.
