Following the release of the eight-minute walkthrough of the Desire HD, HTC has released their Desire Z video, equally as long, which shows off some of the cool new features of the device. For example, they talk about the “pop-out” hinge design and the design philosophy of it. They also cover the keyboard, which has been design with ergonomics in mind, with the addition of programmable keys that can be used to carry out tasks or launch programs (thus keeping your fingers on the keyboard, and not on the display). Aditionally, some of the new HTC Sense features are covered such as the new camera application, the DLNA support, and the new maps application which pre-caches data.
