We might as well file this under the Rumor category at least in part since it’s a strange Frankenstein combination of Android and Windows Mobile and the subject is the upcoming HTC Desire HD which we’ve seen in a video demonstration a month ago.
German provider E-plus has posted some renders of the HTC Desire HD which might look pretty decent, genuine and credible except for one small detail: the HTC Desire HD will be an Android device and the picture shows the Windows Mobile version of HTC Sense in all its glory rendered on the screen, starting right above the classic Android HTC Sense Phone button and ending just below the Android taskbar. The appearance of the Marketplace would be another indicator to the Frankenstein-like combination since it’s a Windows Mobile application and service but given the above stated, we can pass that.
Now, we had strong indications that the HTC Desire HD will be launched in London on September 15, 2010, together with the HTC Desire Z, but as far as the German renders are concerned, we reject the screen part of it (at least what it is displayed) and we tend to accept the rest of the image.
