After being available in the U.S. for sometime on carrier AT&T, the HTC Aria had recently been made available in Taiwan and now will be made available in Australia on carrier Optus. The Aria is a mid-range Android smartphone with an HVGA display, 600 MHz processor, HTC Sense, WiFi, Bluetooth, and a 5-megapixel camera. Beginning in October, on Optus, with a two-year contract, the Aria will be available for free on plans of $49 per month or more. Optus will be the exclusive Australian carrier for the Aria.
