After Google officially unveiled its Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich platform, HTC has made a statement that it was reviewing the platform in order to see which devices might be able to run it without breaking the experience.
Now HTC’s Facebook page has more exact information regarding the update, which will happen early next year. The new Android platform will be operating the “HTC Sensation, HTC Sensation XL and HTC Sensation XE, as well as the HTC Rezound, HTC EVO 3D, HTC EVO Design 4G and HTC Amaze 4G”. The note also mentions that the process will be achieved “through close integration with our carrier partners” and we hope things will not get delayed. Also, HTC is continuing to review ICS features in order to see which devices can get it next so we will hopefully hear about new updates soon.
