Yesterday we reported that the Android 3.0 SDK had been finalized and that apps can now be written to take advantage of the new features in Android 3.0 Honeycomb.

Since Honeycomb is just for tablets, what can smartphone users get out of it? It turns out that in addition to APIs for developers to hook into, the Honeycomb wallpapers were included as well — and the looks wonderful on smartphones!
