There are literally just a few more hours until we’ll finally see Android Ice Cream Sandwich being unveiled by Google and we’ve already taken a closer look at some aspects of the OS thanks to some leaked screenshots.

To further tease our curiosity and anxiety, here’s how a couple of widgets will hopefully look in the next Android OS. AndroidPolice got their hands on the Gmail, Email, and Calendar widgets and were kind enough to put them side-by-side with the current Honeycomb widgets for easier comparison. We can see the resemblance and also the fact that ICS widgets look a tad more polished. We’ll definitely see more tonight!
