We’ve heard of the Android 4.0.2 Ice Cream Sandwich update before, though it was a Verizon Galaxy Nexus getting it. This time around, it’s the GSM variant of the “pure-Android” phone getting a fresh batch of biscuits and ice cream.
According to reports, the update only measures 8.8MB, so don’t expect anything major except for a couple of bug fixes and improvements. You should get the update notification but if you are eager to invoke it yourself, head into your device’s Settings and check manually for its availability.
