Google has announced its third quarter 2011 financial results and the numbers made public are looking really good! “We had a great quarter. <...> Revenue was up 33% year on year and our quarterly revenue was just short of $10 billion”, said Larry Page, Google’s CEO.
The third quarter brought Google a revenue of $9.72 billion, a 33% increase compared to the same period of last year ($7.29 billion). Google+, the company’s take on social networking, now has more than 40 million users; no wonder the CEO is excited saying that “people are flocking into Google+ at an incredible rate and we are just getting started!”
