It’s hard to really measure how important a project or platform is to its developer until you see true investment in it. In the past, even though HTC and Samsung built the first line of Google Nexus devices, Google never really ran a TV ad about them.
Google has clearly noticed that the impact a good ad campaign can provide to any project is what will separate it from the rest. So far Google’s TV ads concentrate on everything you can do with Android, which is a great job IMHO. Let’s just hope this new approach to competing against Apple’s competition pays off.
