Google’s Android Ice Cream Sandwich platform update is just around the corner and we were lucky enough to see a couple of screenshots to make the wait easier. Building up the anticipation, Google’s CEO has praised the next version of Android on the Google Quarterly earnings call.
According to Larry Page, the next version of Android is “incredible”. “You won’t believe what we have managed to do in this release”, he said and, while the statue is already in place to signal the approach of the update, that October 19 joint Samsung-Google event can’t come soon enough! There’s one question still standing though: how long until current high-end Android phones will get the Ice Cream Sandwich update from manufacturers and/or carriers?
