The 7-inch Android tablet that Samsung had teased as the Galaxy Tab in a few short videos prior to the start of the IFA show in Germany was recently spotted with a CDMA label and it seems now there is further confirmation that the slate tablet will be arriving on Verizon Wireless in due time. A screenshot of the Verizon Wireless system shows the Galaxy Tab in inventory, at least demo units of the tablet.
The carrier has made it no secret that it’s planning on bringing some Android tablets to the market to give the iPad and rival AT&T some competition, and the Galaxy Tab by Samsung may be one such effort. Samsung and Verizon Wireless already have a partnership for an Android-based TouchWiz phone in the form of the Samsung Fascinate, which has been announced as Galaxy S variant for the carrier but has yet to go on sale to consumers.
