With well over 500 million members, it’s no wonder that smartphone OEMs want to custom tailor their phones to appeal to the massive amount of people that can’t seem to find an end to their Facebook fix. The INQ Cloud Touch is one such phone that will provide a more immersive Facebook experience than what can be had with a mere Facebook app. Now, according to the Financial Times, HTC might be next, with a phone that has a dedicated button to launch the Facebook app. Perhaps HTC will include other social-friendly features such as enhanced Facebook widgets or tie-ins to Facebook’s new messaging platform, so that they can brand the device as a “social” phone.
