At the Adobe – Android event, Google and Adobe had announced that the Flash 10.1 plugin for the Google Nexus One has finally exited beta. Owners of the Nexus One, which has since been discontinued for consumer consumption, can head over to Android Market to download the plugin for their devices.
It seems that if your Android 2.2 Froyo does not launch with Adobe Flash, you’ll be able to download it from Android Market if your handset meets hardware specs. Another device getting Flash via this route would be the Motorola Droid, which is still getting its Android 2.2 Froyo update in small roll-outs as we speak.
