According to a recent Opera Mobile Blog post, Opera is planning on some great features for the Android version of the browser, which include Flash support as well as HTML5.
Currently, Opera Mobile for Android doesn’t support either, which would make it a bit difficult for users to give up on the default Android browser (which at least does Flash) in its favor. The Flash enabled version will take advantage of the already existing Flash player installed on your phone to support content that might need it. Unfortunately the post doesn’t reveal anything specific related to a timeframe for when these features will be implemented but nevertheless, if and when they will, Opera will be a great competitor for the other Android browsers out there.
