HTC Sensation 4G, HTC Amaze 4G, LG DoublePlay, LG myTouch Q and LG myTouch. What do all of these devices have in common? They are all featured in T-Mobile’s inventory wearing a “nearing EOL” status.
While we can’t say we’re shocked to see end-of-life statuses on the three LG phones, the HTC Sensation 4G and the HTC Amaze 4G on the above list might come as a surprise. The two phones will probably still be on shelves as long as the stock holds enough units but T-Mobile is definitely planning on replacing its top Android phones.
With MWC just around the corner, we can expect HTC to unveil the HTC Ville, together with the HTC Endeavor, among some others. We’ve recently heard that T-Mobile will be carrying the HTC Ville so the carrier is probably making place for some fresh devices — among which the slim Ville.
If this will really be the case, you can expect an Ice Cream Sandwich-powered smartphone with HTC Sense 4.0 on top of it, powered by a dual-core Snapdragon Series 4 processor clocking at 1.5GHz, a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED display with qHD resolution, and an eight-megapixel camera with 1080p recording capability.
