Several of the changes in this beta deal with text entry. Mozilla says that the less you need to type in order to use its browser, the better. To that end, the URL bar now supports copy-and-pasting. For when you do have to enter text, Mozilla’s patched some keyboard bugs, and there’s better international text support thanks to compatibility with Arabic and Persian scripts.
The process by which you can sync a copy of Firefox Mobile with the full browser on your home PC has been made easier to configure. Now, for each mobile device you want to sync with your desktop, you’ll just need to generate a 12-character code and enter it on your computer.
Various other improvements include the ability to save web pages as PDF documents, support for uploading files, and better audio-handling.
