You can use the official Facebook application to chat with your friends but there’s an easier way to keep in touch by using Facebook Messenger. The application has been recently updated in the Google Play Store and you better grab the refresh.

The changes included are looking good! There’s a faster way to start conversations and an easier way to start group conversations, a fresh, updated visual design, better support for Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich (yay!) plus the usual bug fixes and performance enhancements. You’ll also be glad to find out that the new version is not that power hungry with the new battery life improvements.
