If you’re a fan of Verizon’s DROID Pro, but you’re in Europe, Motorola’s got some good news for you! The Android-powered “Motorola Pro” features a QWERTY keyboard beneath the 3.1-inch HGVA touchscreen display. It will only be running Android 2.2 on a 1GHz processor, but seeing an Android in the candybar formfactor is quite refreshing.
If you’re looking for storage, the Motorola Pro sports 2 GB internal memory and can support up to another 32 GB via it’s microsdhc slot. It will feature a 3G mobile hotspot support that will allow simultaneous connections from up to five other Wi-Fi enabled devices and comes ready to meet the needs of the road warrior. In addition to everything you’d expect from an Android 2.2 smartphone, it includes QuickOffice and various security additions such as AuthenTec IPSec multi-headed VPN integration, remote wipe of device and sdcard, and complex password support as well as device and sdcard encryption.
European business users rejoice!
