If you have a U.S. Motorola Atrix 4G on AT&T you already have it running Android 2.3 Gingerbread as the update was rolled-out for the phone around a month ago. If you live in Europe and thus own a Motorola Atrix you will have to wait a little bit more for Google’s latest.

According to the manufacturer, the Android 2.3 Gingerbread update will hit European Motorola Atrix phone in the fourth quarter of the year. The status update says early Q4 which could mean October but as far as updates are concerned, there’s really no way in telling if that deadline will be met. Anyways, good thing is that probably you’ll be having Gingerbread too by Christmas!
